According to reports, LaTarsha Brown, an employee from Allentown, Pennsylvania, has been charged after allegedly staging a hate crime by placing a noose at her own desk.
She essentially pulled a Jussie Smollett, just shy of hiring people to beat her in the streets.
About two months ago, Brown reported discovering a noose at her desk at City Hall. Authorities then requested DNA samples from all employees working in the office at the time

According to Capt. Steve Milkovits, all employees complied, except for Brown.
Ironically enough, a subsequent report from the Pennsylvania State Police Forensic DNA Division revealed that the DNA found on the noose matched Brown’s.
Brown, who worked for the city’s community and economic development department, is now facing misdemeanor charges, including filing false reports and tampering with evidence.
